Immunogen: | AT5G11260 O24646 | ![]() |
Synonyms: | HY5, ELONGATED HYPOCOTYL 5, REVERSAL OF THE DET PHENOTYPE 5, Protein long hypocotyl 5, TED 5 | |
Background: |
HY5 is a basic leucine zipper (bZIP) transcription factor with nuclear localization. It is involved in light-regulated transcriptional activation of G-box-containing promoters. HY5 plays a role in anthocyanin accumulation in far-red light and blue light, but not in red light or in the dark. |
